OPERATIONAL AREAS

Our daily activities are focused on:

  • Helping to define the legal framework that underpins food product labeling with the ultimate objective of ensuring that Italian companies function under conditions that are comparable to those of the major competitors.
  • Continue to engage in constructive dialogue and confrontation with national, European, and international institutions to offer Italian food industry practical standards for accurate food labeling.
  • Encourage training programs on consumer information laws, since this will help the Italian food industry become more informed and ready for this particular type of issue.
